First time listening to this song and it just reminds me of my boyfriend . We almost NEVER see each other because of sooo many personal problems and parents and well.... were still young... he yesterday left his house , packed his stuff and called me from a YMCA phone and said to pick him up so I did and after ONE year without seeing him I cried and hugged him , when I got home with him I knew bad shit was going to happen, that his badass mom was going to report him as missing and the next day two police officers came right after we were having an emotional talk about how happy we were to see each other and when the police officers came he didn’t wanted to leave but I told him to go , that I was going to be fine and I don’t know... I guess he made a sacrifice for me to go see me no matter what it take and he is now in jail for a week and it hurts .... but 6 months and he is legally able to come home with me and stopped living this nightmare of his mother threatening him like shit and taking him to therapy bc they make him feel like a big loser and sick bitch but he knows I’ll always be here no fucking matter what it takes
This is how I feel about my hometown that I was dragged away from. Blake Shelton helps me get over my homesickness. I love his music with all of my heart
