As was said below, how touching that he said hi to hi mom. He once said in an interview that it was the only time he ever acknowledged any family member on video. Fitting too as this would be the last time she ever saw her beloved son perform. She loved George unconditionally, never judged him and always believed in him. Our George missed that so much. It breaks my heart to think about it. As he said, " I just lost myself that night while singing" and ya know what George, it sure as heck shows.
