September 16, 1964 City Park Stadium, New Orleans: The Beatlesthey didnt play any Larry Williams, but they DID close with Long Tall Sally ( recorded in New Orleans by Little Richard with the great Earl Palmer on drums)
problem is ,,,,rock and rock hall of fame or SHAME i should say ,,,,has no taste of what truly can move people ,.,,,what rhythm is ,,,or talent is ,,,they should have such a either age or ,,term i should say ...of their dominence ...of what music TRULY IS ...or get an older offiicial; with music experience of what music truly is ,,,,have the reasearch ..it may sound good ..but was it as good as the original ...if not ,,give the original artist THE STAR ....dont get me wrong ...the Beatles did marvelous work ,,,with their own originality ,,,but trying to copy others work ...well DOESNT ALWAYS WORK .....
As good as this recording is, this was very typical of many early R&B black songs. In production, singing style, sax solo etc. The sax was the dominant solo instrument used back then, before the electric guitar came to dominate!
