I was about 8 years old when this song came out. Jamaica was so out of this world beautiful. No grills, use to sleep with my door and windows open. No violence what do ever. I thank the lord that I grew up at that beautiful, peaceful time in Jamaica. Beautiful, God blessed memories.
I could remember those days as a boy grewing up it was shake a legs dancing,in the hights of ska, and rocksteady time.When those sound system useto put the steel lawn, into a tree top to send the sound very far, so people could me.Those days was very nice, when a plate of curry goat useto sold for3 shillings and six Spence also 5 shillings to enter the dance.
